Brian Stewart

Brian Stewart is director of operational excellence for LaBarge, Inc. He directs process improvement initiatives, including lean and Six Sigma, at a strategic level for LaBarge’s commercial/industrial manufacturing operations.

Stewart joined LaBarge in 2009 with more than 20 years of operations management and continuous improvement experience. He served most recently as director of operations for Accellent Inc. Prior to that, he was the manager of lean manufacturing for Eaton Corp. He also has held operations management and continuous improvement-related positions with Honeywell International, Pratt & Whitney and GE Aviation.

Stewart earned a master’s degree in business administration from Franklin University, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. He also has earned Six Sigma certifications including Lean Expert and Black Belt.
