John Piatak

John Piatak is director of corporate supply chain for LaBarge, Inc. He is responsible for developing a companywide, best-in-class supply chain program and ensuring LaBarge’s supply chain is aligned with the company's overall business strategy.

Piatak joined LaBarge in 2009 with more than 15 years of management experience in supply chain logistics and materials management. He previously served as vice president and general manager of global supply chain for American Power Conversion, now Schneider Electric. Prior to that, he held several supply chain management roles at Applied Materials, finally as director of global logistics. Piatak also was manager of order fulfillment programs for Compaq Computer Corp. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a decade, finally as a contracting officer.

Piatak earned his master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He holds executive certification in supply chain management from Stanford University.
