Michael Wetzel

Michael Wetzel is general manager for LaBarge's Houston manufacturing facility. Wetzel joined LaBarge in 2008. LaBarge's Houston facility manufactures high-reliability electronic assemblies for customers in the oil-and-gas industry.

Wetzel joined LaBarge from Sparton Electronics, where he managed the company's Albuquerque, N.M., manufacturing facility. Previously, he held positions in Sparton's quality, operations and business development organizations. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in quality management from Cleary University. Wetzel served as a sergeant and missile radar technician in the U.S. Marine Corps.
